Here we see some of the madness that is the TX2K14 event, with what appears to be a modified Lexus SC400 burning the tires for a couple of minutes, keeping the smoke billowing and the revs up until the brakes simply can’t take it and burst into flame.

Before the brakes catch fire, the rotors spend a while glowing bright red. Once the driver lets off the throttle, wads of rubber and rolls of steel belts from the shredded tires can be seen dangling and rolling off the casing.
