The majority of kids would be happy to get any free working car when they turn 20, but not this spoiled idiot.
Apparently the young ungrateful guy was unhappy with the Ferrari 458 Italia his father gave him, so this young son of a Swiss millionaire conspired to set fire to the supercar, so his father would buy him a newer, more expensive one.
The $240,000 458 Italia was reportedly one of 15 cars his father had already bought him, one of which was a Lamborghini. In addition to the cars, his father also gave him a roughly $10,000 monthly allowance and a property portfolio valued at around $30 million.
The kid claimed he was encouraged by a dealership to commit insurance fraud, so that he could buy a new car. He then paid two friends about $15,000 to carry out the plan. The two friends set fire to the car in Southern Germany to make it look like an auto theft, while the son visited a “massage parlor.”
Unfortunately for him, security cameras in the area recorded the whole thing. A court fined him about $32,000 and sentenced him to 22 months probation.
Hopefully, he likes the next car his dad buys for him a little bit more.
