CAN YOU GUESS WHERE THIS NEW HYPERCAR, THE NEMESIS, COMES FROM?

This new radical hypercar dubbed the Trion Nemesis doesn't hail from any of the countries you'd expect. It doesn't come from Italy, Sweden, Germany or England as you'd think it would, but it comes from the land of opportunity, the greatest country in the world, well that's what the Americans think anyway. The land of Mustangs, Camaros, Cowboys and obesity is gearing up to launch the 2,000hp Trion Nemesis.

This American creation is set to take on the European hypercar establishment, which includes companies like Koenigsegg and Pagani.

A video of the Nemesis being shown at an exclusive event for potential buyers was leaked, giving us our first detailed look at America’s hypercar contender.

This is obviously not a working car but instead a  full-size mockup, but it still gives us a decent idea of how the final car will look. At first glance, style-wise, the Nemesis certainly took a few queues from other established supercar builders.

As the narrator in the video points out, the open mesh rear surrounded by LEDs looks sort of like a concept version of the McLaren P1, while the front is reminds you a lot of the Dubai hypercar, the Lykan Hypersport. Despite the striking visual similarities, it’s definitely a great looking car, even in it's clearly non-final mockup.

The Nemesis will come in two configurations, with them both utilizing active aero components and a V8 aided but twin turbos. The Nemesis RR, which will be the top dog, summons 2,000 hp to all fours through an eight-speed sequential gearbox. Trion claims a 0-60mph time of 2.8 seconds and a top speed over 270 mph. According to the narrator, a very limited production run of 10 will be built, each costing $2.2 million, and it will even include a share of the company, nice!

The Nemesis GT, meanwhile, is an open top variant that makes do with a lesser, but still exuberant 1,400 hp. It gets the same eight-speed gearbox, which sends power to the rear wheels only in this case, more fun we'd say! But, with a 0-60 time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 218 mph, its still a rocketship.
