VIDEO: CHIP FOOSE REVEALS THE MACH FOOSE MUSTANG AT 2017 SEMA

Chip Foose revealed his newest creation, the Mach Foose Mustang. What you will see is actually a 2011 Mustang GT with a 1971 body that has 1970 rear quarter panels and other body fabrication work. The 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1, nicknames "Mach Foose" features a 2010 Mustang GT underpinned body.

The wheelbase is lengthened by three inches and the entire front-end structure redesigned with new strut towers and a cleaner engine bay. The rear quarter panels are replaced with those form a 1970 model. Under the hood, things get fancy; there is a modern naturally aspirated Ford 5.0-litre, 302 cubic-inch small-block Coyote 32V Ti-VCT V8 engine. This engine is factory rated at 412 horsepower and 390 lb-ft. of torque.

This Foose Mustang will be remembered as one of the most beautiful restored '71 Mustang ever. Why from 1970, you ask? Well, the panels are a bit wider and more shapely, allowing them to accommodate the wider rear wheels and tires requested by the client who's commissioned the car.
