2021 BRAZILIAN GRAND PRIX - HAMILTON STRIKES BACK HARD!
After qualifying on Friday, Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton suffered a penalty as a result of his rear wing not adhering to the FIA regulations. This caused him to start at the back of the grid on Saturday's Sprint Qualifying where he still managed to secure starting at 10th pace on the grid in the main race on Sunday.
After a few short laps, Lewis Hamilton was in a podium position up in third place where he was battling it out with Max Verstappen's teammate, Sergio Perez who put up a brilliant fight until Hamilton managed to pass him.
Every lap thereafter, Lewis Hamilton inched closer and closer to the race leader, Max Verstappen in the Red Bull until finally, Lewis Hamilton was in DRS range which essentially guaranteed him a pass and then brought the exceptional win home for Mercedes and narrowing the gap in the championship.
