500TH LAFERRARI AUCTIONED OFF FOR RECORD BREAKING $7 MILLION

Ferrari held a very special event called the Ferrari Finali Mondiali this weekend at Daytona International Speedway where the 500th LaFerrari was auctioned off for a whopping $7 million. The money raised will go towards reconstructing Central Italy in the aftermath of this year's devastating earthquakes. The LaF in question features a unique livery consisting of iconic Ferrari red and a white dream line on the hood and rear window. At the front of the hood sits a small Italian flag and it also features a plaque identifying this car as the 500th out of 499. The $7 million hammer price represents a new record for the most valuable 21st Century automobile ever sold at auction.
