BENTLEY EXPANDS ITS BESPOKE LINEUP WITH A TRIO OF COOL - THE CONTINENTAL GT, GTC & FLYING SPUR HIGH PERFORMANCE HYBRID VARIANT

Bentley’s push towards an electrified future just gained serious momentum. The ultra-luxury marque has expanded its range of Continental GT, Continental GTC and Flying Spur models with a second, all-new V8 plug-in hybrid powertrain. Dubbed the High Performance Hybrid, this latest setup delivers a mighty 500 kW and 930 Nm of torque - available across all body styles in either the striking Core model or the wellness-focused Azure trim. This new hybrid offering joins the already ferocious 575 kW Ultra Performance Hybrid, introduced in 2024 as part of the Speed and Mulliner range. Together, they form a new, electrified V8-only lineup for Bentley’s two- and four-door Grand Tourers - a bold move that’s rewriting the playbook for luxury performance. At the heart of the new models lies a sophisticated 4.0-litre V8 paired with a punchy electric motor, good for a combined 575 kW and 930 Nm. Those numbers don’t just sound good on paper—they outright eclipse the previous generation’s W12 Speed in every metric: power, torque, and outright performance. And thanks to a usable EV-only range of up to 85 km, it’s as refined in the city as it is relentless on the open road. The latest Continental GT and GTC keep the name, but everything else is fresh. Classic cues like the iconic matrix grille (now gloss black with chrome detailing) remain, but the details have been sharpened - Harmony crystal-inspired headlamps, animated taillights, and a mix of gloss and matt black exterior elements add drama to the elegance. Chrome tailpipes peer out from a gloss black diffuser, letting everyone know this isn’t just for show. Step inside and it’s all about handcrafted excellence. From straight-fluted seats built in Crewe to treadplates proudly stating “Handcrafted in Crewe, England”, every detail reminds you this is artisan-level motoring. The interior can be dressed in either bright or dark chrome switchgear, adding contrast and sophistication. Performance? Oh, it’s proper. 0-100 km/h disappears in just 3.7 seconds, while the convertible isn’t far behind at 3.9s. Both offer up to 85 km of pure electric driving, and with CO₂ emissions as low as 29 g/km, it’s as clean as it is quick. Bentley’s Active Chassis tech is all present and accounted for - Dynamic Ride, Rear Wheel Steering, and an electronic limited-slip diff (eLSD) work in harmony with Comfort, Bentley and Sport driving modes to deliver grip, grace and go-anywhere confidence.

Azure Models – The Wellness GT

For those who prefer their performance with a side of calm, the new GT Azure and GTC Azure turn up the luxury dial. Outside, the gloss black matrix grille is accented with bright vertical vanes, paired with a new 22” Azure-specific wheel finished in silver and bright machined metal. Azure badging adds the signature detail to the fenders. Inside, the wellness story continues. There’s 3D Harmony diamond quilting on the seats and door panels, Azure-embroidered headrests, open pore crown cut walnut veneers, and even illuminated treadplates bearing the Azure name. Features like massaging Wellness seats, contrast stitching, and a panoramic roof (or a neck warmer for GTCs) make long drives a spa-like experience. The Touring, Comfort, and Lighting Specs come standard, ensuring every drive is smooth, stress-free, and effortlessly refined.

Flying Spur – Grand Touring, Evolved

The new Flying Spur gets the same 680 PS High Performance Hybrid punch, and it uses it well - dispatching 0–100 km/h in 3.9s. Yet, this is still a car that glides over tarmac like it’s silk. With Active Chassis tech and plush cabin space for five, it remains Bentley’s most luxurious grand tourer short of the Speed variant. Design-wise, the Flying Spur wears its power well: gloss black matrix grille, chrome brightware, oval chrome tailpipes and matt black bumper grilles all hint at the V8 hybrid muscle beneath. Inside, the blend of craftsmanship and tech continues. Straight-fluted seating, Bentley-embroidered headrests, bright or dark chrome switchgear - it’s all there. For those seeking ultimate comfort, the Flying Spur Azure takes things further.

Flying Spur Azure – Peak Comfort, Electrified

On the outside, the Flying Spur Azure gets all the same distinctive touches as its GT sibling - gloss black grille, bright vertical vanes, Azure fender badging, and that gorgeous 22” silver and machined wheel design. Opt for the Blackline package, and you’ll get those same luxury cues in a stealthy dark finish. Inside, it’s a rolling sanctuary. Mood lighting, Harmony quilting, and open pore walnut trim set the tone, while the Touring, Comfort and Mood Lighting Specs take care of the finer details. Bentley’s advanced Wellness seating system extends to both front and rear outer seats, offering heating, ventilation, and programmable massage modes for peak relaxation on the move.
