There is one lesson most car enthusiasts only learn the hard way and that is always to keep your project car separate from that of your daily driver. You don't ever want to be caught out by having some sort of an emergency where you need to get somewhere but your car is in the middle of heart transplant surgery as your swapping out your 2.0L for a 5.7L V8...But you get the idea...Keep it reliable as much as possible, and for the most part, keep it rather practical as well.
Here are some great mods specifically for your daily driver:
- Aftermarket wheels
- lowing springs/coilovers (If you opt for coilovers, don't slam it to that point where you're killing all forms of drivability, this is a daily, keep it practical-ish)
- Cosmetic Mods (lights, vinyl wrap, splitters, etc)
