CONVERTIBLE LAMBORGHINI AVENTADOR SV UNVEILED AT PEBBLE BEACH

This beauty you are feasting your eyes on is indeed the new Lamborghini Aventador Roadster Superveloce, recently debuted at this year’s Pebble Beach Concours. It's not cheap as expected, coming in at $550,000. 

So then, what exactly do you get for this massive price tag?  Some sort of exclusivety, since only 500 examples will be built as well as blisteting performance of course. The SV Roadster houses a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 linked to a seven-speed manual gearbox that kicks out 740bhp, 690Nm of torque, and a more than quick enough to soil yourself 350kph top speed. 0-100km/h comes in fast, really fast, in a matter of only 2.9 seconds.

Lighter and more track-spec than the Aventador on which it is based, the Superveloce boasts a fully stripped out cabin incorporating carbon fibre fabric backed sport seats and loads of Alcantara. The Roadster’s hard top folding roof – which has added 50kg to the coupe’s 1525kg weight – is also made of carbon fibre for lower centre of gravity.
