Anyone remotely interested in keeping their engine healthy and running smoothly knows that good motor oil is essential. But, how much do we really know about what we're putting into our motors and, now that there is budget-friendly oil available from Amazon, is it worth purchasing or is it just going to set you up for costly failure?

In this video, Project Farm put three oils to the test; two fully synthetic motor oils in the form of AmazonBasics and Mobil 1, and Valvoline 10W-30 conventional motor oil.

Although there's no fancy, expensive testing equipment here, they still manage to test cold temperature flow, lubricity, evaporative loss after exposure to approximately 400F for 2 hours, and cold flow of each oil after exposed to heat for 2 hours.
