Is the Japanese electric car, the Honda E, the best electric commuter car?
Over the last couple of months, all eyes have been on Tesla and what they're developing, and this has also got a lot to do with the activity SpaceX has been doing too.
However, Tesla's still fall under the highly exclusive category. But what about more affordable electric cars for commuters? Although it's not cheap, the one that is getting the most attraction lately is the incredible and rather recognisable Honda E. And, yes, the "E" stands for electric.
The Honda E comes in two powertrain options, a 134 bhp version and a 152 bhp version called the Honda E Advance. Honda has confirmed that both options will have 50:50 weight distribution to make it nimble and agile on urban roads.
The funky new Honda E expresses its playful charisma by being available in five colours: Platinum White Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, Crystal Blue Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic and Charge Yellow.
The Honda E will start at around £26,160 in the UK, which makes it one of the most affordable electric cars on the market today.
