KEN BLOCK GYMKHANA 10 CLIMBKHANA PIKES PEAK – HOLD ON TO YOUR HELMETS!

Not too long ago we teased you with a build up for Ken Block's latest release – Gymkhana 10 Climbkhana Pikes Peak, which was slated to be his best performance to date.

Well, we're happy to report that Block strikes again in this, the 10th edition of his Gymkhana series, and it's incredible!

Debuting the Hoonicorn V2, Block takes on the challenge of the infamous Pikes Peak and pushes, quite literally, the boundaries of performance and physics. It's a heart-stopping show of squealing tyres, white smoke and the heavy thumping of a monstrous V8 which, by the way, with its twin turbos blasts 1400hp through its all-wheel-drive system.

The '65 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn RTR V2, as it's called, is overkill in the best way possible. With a 6.7 litre, 410 cubic-inch V8 that throws flames from exhaust pipes that exit through the bonnet, Block reckons it's the scariest vehicle he's ever driven, which isn't surprising.

But enough about man and machine, let's talk about the video itself. Pikes Peak is 12.42 miles, or 20km's long, with an elevation of 14,115 feet. It contains 156 turns and, if that's not enough, has been littered with obstacles for Block to navigate as he races to the top.

It takes a brave individual to take up the challenge, with many kilometres of sheer drops unprotected by crash barriers, not to mention blinding sunlight on hairpin bends, but we all know Block is fearless and happily gets the Hoonicorn precariously on the edge of certain death. Repeatedly.

So, without further ado, it's time for you to spend the next 9 minutes of your life on the edge of your seat. Enjoy!
