REBUILDING A 307 SMALL BLOCK ON A BUDGET

Rebuilding a 307 small block on a budget isn't impossible. We join the Vice Grip Garage who runs through the process for us, with a bit of comedy thrown in for good measure.

Many of us spend a lot of money getting other people to work on our engines, but how easy is it to do some of this stuff yourself? Well, 'The Guy' at Vice Grip Garage shows us how he rebuilds a 307 small block on a budget.

As he says, "No fancy parts here. Let's reuse stuff, swap some parts off of other engines, and see what it can do. Yeah, good enuff. After it's together, I run it on the dyno, and you may be surprised!"

It's a super video for those of us who have never pulled an engine apart and is pretty fun to listen to pearls of wisdom like, "It's raining outside like a racehorse peeing on a flat rock." Yup, it's fun!
