LOTUS HAS GIVEN THE EMIRA A COUPLE OF NEW MODELS ALONG WITH SOME TASTY OPTIONS
Lotus continues its transformation with a fresh wave of Emira models and updates, reaffirming its position in the premium sports car segment with signature flair. Headlining the updates is the all-new Emira V6 SE, a mid-engine machine that blends exotic aesthetics with everyday refinement. It retains the much-loved 3.5-litre supercharged V6 pushing out 400 hp, available with a six-speed manual (complete with LSD) or optional automatic transmission. A revised compression mount for the manual enhances shift precision, while chassis tweaks sharpen handling and improve ride comfort. Drivers can choose between Tour and Sport suspension settings, and enjoy tactile hydraulic steering that channels that unmistakable Lotus feel. The V6 SE sets itself apart with distinctive touches including unique badging, 20-inch forged alloys, red calipers, an extended Black Pack, and an Alcantara-clad cabin. Zinc Grey is the standard hue, but with 15 body colours, seven interior themes, four brake caliper finishes, and eight wheel options on offer, it’s endlessly customisable. Prices start at £96,500 in the UK.
Slotting in as the new entry point to the Emira range is the Emira Turbo — an everyday sports car that doesn’t sacrifice Lotus DNA. It’s powered by an AMG-sourced twin-scroll turbocharged 4-cylinder engine paired to an 8-speed DCT gearbox, good for a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 4.4 seconds. Equipped with double wishbones, an integrated rear spoiler, and electro-hydraulic steering, it delivers spirited driving with modern practicality. Standard kit includes advanced safety features like Autonomous Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Warning, and Fatigue Detection, while comfort comes courtesy of 12-way electric seats, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and a 190W sound system. Optional packages like the Convenience Pack and Extended Black Pack up the ante even further. To tie it all together, Lotus has launched a new Racing Line option for the Turbo SE and V6 SE — a visual upgrade that adds lower pinstriping in yellow, red or silver, colour-matched mirrors and calipers, gloss black wheels, and custom badging inside and out. The Emira Turbo starts at £79,500, proving that true Lotus magic now comes with a wider range of flavours.
