MANHART’S TAKE ON THE G82 M4 COUPé IS PURE AWESOMENESS - THE MH4 900 IS A BAVARIAN BEAST

The BMW M4 Coupé is no slouch in stock form, but that’s never been enough for the mad scientists at MANHART Performance. Known for pushing Bavarian engineering into uncharted territory, the German tuning wizards are back with a weaponised version of the G82 M4 Coupé - and it’s aiming squarely at supercars with bank account-melting price tags. Enter: the MH4 900. This thing doesn’t just flirt with four-digit horsepower territory - it kicks the door down and sets up shop. Thanks to a heavily worked version of the twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre S58 inline-6, the MH4 900 now belts out a staggering 922 hp (687 kW) and a tyre-liquefying 1,190 Nm of torque. That’s almost Bugatti Veyron torque from a tuned M4 that costs a mere percentage of the quad-turbocharged W16 monster. Let that sink in for a second. The secret sauce is a full-blown mechanical makeover. The headline act is a MANHART turbocharger upgrade courtesy of TTH, paired with a MANHART intercooler, forged pistons and connecting rods, a carbon intake, and ECU remapping that turns the engine into a force of nature. To keep all that torque from turning the gearbox into a puddle, the transmission's been treated to a Stage 2 upgrade, good for up to 1,300 Nm. Yeah, they’re not playing around. And then there’s the soundtrack. A MANHART stainless steel exhaust system by REMUS, valve-controlled and finished off with quad 110 mm carbon-coated tips, delivers a growl worthy of the powerplant. Optional downpipes with 200-cell HJS cats or OPF delete pipes are on the menu for export-only builds - no TÜV stamp, just unfiltered fury.

But MANHART didn’t stop at making it fast. They’ve made sure it feels fast, too. The MH4 900 gets height-adjustable coilover springs by H&R, along with custom MANHART suspension tweaks for sharper turn-in and better stability when things get hairy. Filling the arches are staggered MANHART by Raffa wheels in 20- and 21-inch fitments, wrapped in low-profile rubber that looks as serious as the specs. Visually, it’s dark, moody, and downright menacing. The black-on-black colour scheme is broken up by subtle champagne-gold accents from MANHART’s signature decal kit. A full carbon aero package takes care of the aggression with a GTR-style vented hood, new grilles, spoilers, flics, diffusers, skirts, and more - all carved from carbon fibre like it’s going out of fashion. Inside, it’s all business. A MANHART Clubsport roll bar adds rigidity (and a bit of track cred), while branded floor mats give a final nod to the tuner behind the madness. This is MANHART firing on all cylinders - literally and figuratively. The MH4 900 exists in a space where German precision collides with unfiltered lunacy, and the result is a blacked-out ballistic missile with supercar-killing performance… and enough attitude to match. As is normally the case with these kinds of upgrade packages, there’s no available pricing yet, but this is most definitely one of those common things we’re seeing these days that run along the lines of, if you have to ask, you probably can’t afford it. Even the wheel options for the car cost more than my daily driver!
