MASERATI SHOWS OFF A PAIR OF STUNNING GRANCABRIOS AT THE I.C.E. ST. MORITZ - COOL!

If there’s one brand that knows how to blend performance, style, and a touch of Italian drama, it’s Maserati. And at The I.C.E. St. Moritz, they turned the glamour dial to 11. Taking centre stage on February 21, 2025, was the new 360 kW GranCabrio, a drop-top masterpiece that now packs the same punch as its GranTurismo sibling. This means you get all the thrills and grand-touring comfort of the coupé - only now, you can feel the Alpine breeze whip through your hair while carving up the Swiss roads. But Maserati didn’t stop there. Also making its grand debut was the one-of-a-kind GranCabrio Trofeo ONE of ONE – The I.C.E., a bespoke showstopper born from the brand’s Fuoriserie customization program and it’s a real beauty of a thing. Maserati’s latest convertible lineup is its most extensive yet, offering something for every kind of enthusiast. Whether you crave the 360 kW twin-turbo V6, the even more potent Trofeo version pushing 405 kW, or the 100% electric Folgore powertrain, there’s a GranCabrio to match your taste. Under the crisp Swiss sky, a striking Verde Giada GranCabrio stole the show, flaunting black brake calipers, staggered 20-inch (front) and 21-inch (rear) wheels, and an interior draped in ice-coloured perforated full-grain leather. The Sonus Faber 19-speaker high-end audio system, 3D carbon fibre trim, and adaptive full-LED headlights in a dark finish added the final luxurious touches. But this car isn’t just about looks. The 3.0-litre Nettuno Twin Turbo V6 rockets the GranCabrio to 300 km/h, launching from 0-100 km/h in just 4.0 seconds. Standard all-wheel drive (AWD) and adaptive air suspension ensure it delivers the full grand tourer experience—blistering performance without sacrificing comfort, even when the roads get tricky.

And for those who love the signature Maserati soundtrack, things are about to get even better. Starting in March, a new Sports Exhaust will be available, dialling up the drama for both the GranTurismo and GranCabrio Trofeo models. Expect a throatier, more adrenaline-charged exhaust note - because let’s face it, a Maserati should sound as good as it looks. To fully embrace the winter wonderland of St. Moritz, Maserati pulled the wraps off something truly special - the GranCabrio Trofeo ONE of ONE – THE I.C.E. Designed through the Fuoriserie program, this one-off masterpiece is a tribute to the icy elegance of the Swiss Alps. Its Ice Liquid tri-coat paint mimics the shimmering frost of the frozen lake where it was revealed, while the Gloss White side air intakes and exclusive badging add contrast. Beneath the forged Astreo wheels, gloss blue brake calipers hint at the performance lurking within. Drop the Blue Marine soft top, and you’ll find a cabin wrapped in ice-coloured leather with 3D touch carbon fibre trim, making it as much a piece of art as it is a performance machine. Few events blend glamour, speed, and exclusivity like The I.C.E. St. Moritz. It’s an immersive celebration of classic and contemporary automotive excellence, set against a backdrop of snow-covered peaks and a legendary frozen lake. Maserati dominated the scene, proving once again that Italian grand touring is alive and well. The GranTurismo and GranCabrio flexed their AWD prowess on snowy roads and ice-driving circuits, demonstrating that performance and luxury don’t stop when the temperature drops. Meanwhile, the Grecale SUV turned heads in St. Moritz, and the MCXtrema and new Maserati GT2 Stradale reminded everyone of the Trident’s deep motorsport roots. For vintage lovers, a rare Maserati 6CM and 200 SI added an extra layer of history, competing in the International Concours of Elegance and proving that Maserati’s legacy is just as stunning as its future. Maserati just made winter a whole lot hotter.

Take a look at the YouTube video that shows off these stunning Italian open-top models that prove just how good the Italian designers are and just how rad a new droptop should look. We'd rock these, any day of the week and twice on Sundays: GranCabrio Trofeo ONE of ONE - THE ICE. Winter Wonderland. | Maserati
