NEELA'S MAZDA RX-8 FROM TOKYO DRIFT
Take a look at the ins and outs of Neela's Mazda RX-8 from The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.
The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift was the first movie in the franchise to be solely based around the finest JDM cars Japan had to offer but, this time, with updated versions. This was also the first Fast and Furious movie to feature both a Nissan 350Z and a Mazda RX-8.
The Mazda RX-8, driven by the character, Neela, was a 2004 model and, although it didn't have that much screen time, it was still regarded as one of the main cars in the movie.
The Mazda RX-8 from the movie features a VSD1-GT Veilside body kit which was specially designed to withstand the brutal nature of drift competition. The RX-8 also featured a huge Greddy front mount intercooler to cool down its aftermarket T618Z turbo, and a dual muffler turbo-back exhaust system.
