RARE 2010 MOSLER MT900S COUPé HEADS TO THE AUCTION BLOCK

Ever heard of Mosler Automotive? Yeah, not many have. Florida-based Mosler Automotive was an American manufacturer that specialised in creating fast, lightweight cars, the company was founded in 1985 by Warren Mosler, a financial expert and a car enthusiast. The company's first model, the Consulier GTP, was introduced in 1985 and was praised for its innovative lightweight design and great performance - winning numerous races and championships in the SCCA and IMSA racing series. In 2000 the Mosler MT900 broke its cover and it featured a lightweight carbon fibre chassis with a mid-mounted V8 powerplant. The MT900 was later replaced by the MT900S, an upgraded version with more advanced technology and better performance, it was available in a coupe and roadster version and was powered by a twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produced up to 600 hp. Despite its short lifespan, Mosler Automotive remains a respected name in the world of high-performance cars, with its models highly sought-after by collectors and enthusiasts. This 2010 Mosler MT900S Coupe that will be up for sale under the Bonhams auction hammer is powered by a 5.7-litre LS6 engine that delivers 435 hp and 773 Nm of torque and is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.

Approximately 20 examples of the MT900S were produced, and this specific model shows a mere 9 000 miles on the odometer. The car is finished in metallic silver with a dark grey quilted Alcantara interior. It also has power-assisted steering, double-wishbone suspension, Penske dampers, adjustable anti-roll bars, servo-assisted Wilwood disc brakes, and OZ Racing wheels. Creature comforts include air conditioning, electric windows, electric wing mirrors, an alarm/immobiliser, and a vehicle tracker. At the time of its sale in 2013, this MT900S had just been detailed (and it can do with another looking at the pics) and received a recent ECU update by Mosler. During that ownership, from 2015 to 2022, the car was kept in climate-controlled storage at Autovolt in Essex, and since then, it has been with Kendall Developments, owned by Luke Kendall, who previously worked at marque specialist Martin Short's Rollcentre Mosler Europe. In July 2022, Kendall Developments inspected and serviced the car, fitted a SPA digital dashboard display system (costing £5,994, according to the bill on file), and fitted new Pirelli P-Zero tires all around at an additional cost of £2,220 (bill available). This most exclusive and collectable modern supercar has an MoT valid until February 2024, and the private vendor describes it as being in very good condition in every respect. It is a formidable road or track tool that comes with two keys and two alarm remotes, full-service history, and a V5C Registration Certificate. The car will be under the hammer later in April of 2023.

Take a look at the YouTube video that shows off why this US-built supercar is something a collector would want in their collection, it has some brilliant aesthetics as well as a monster of a twin-turbocharged Chevy LS powerplant: Mosler MT900S LS7 Twin-Turbo 750hp 1950lbs PURE CARBON | BulletmotorsportsInc
