THE POLESTAR 2 BST EDITION 230 - ANOTHER LIMITED-EDITION SWEDISH EV WE'D FIGHT YOU FOR.

If you don’t know Polestar, you should. It wasn’t too long ago that the brand was actually just a line of cars under the Volvo banner, but the higher-ups saw the benefit of turning the electric side of things into a standalone brand that could concentrate on future mobility while the parent brand stayed doing what it does best - super safe Volvo cars. This trailblazing automotive automaker has once again pushed the limits of Swedish excellence with the release of the properly stunning Polestar 2 BST edition 230 - a limited-edition slice of cool. As part of the renowned Polestar Engineered portfolio, this limited-edition, the second from the brand, and it features some exceptional chassis modifications that were originally developed for ultimate thrills in the original BST edition, but this time there’s a heightened focus on performance design details that are guaranteed to make any car enthusiast do a double take. According to Thomas Ingenlath, Polestar CEO, "Limited drops like the BST edition 230 allow us to explore colours, graphics and materials in faster and more creative ways." And that is precisely what they have done!

The Polestar 2 BST edition 230 features exclusive green Nebula paintwork that exudes a sense of sophistication and refinement, while the MicroSuede textile that covers the seats and steering wheel inserts - made from partly recycled Nubuck textile - offers a touch of indulgence and luxury that is second to none and is typically Swedish. While this shade of green is really good, the exterior can also be ordered in Space - which as the name suggests is actually black, with an optional full-length body stripe is one that we’d option if we were in the market for a sexy Swede. As mentioned, the limited-edition Polestar 2 BST edition 230 comes complete with all the chassis upgrades that were first implemented on the original Polestar 2 BST edition 270 and so we see a ride height lowered by 25 mm, as well as specially developed and unique Öhlins 2-way adjustable dampers, a front strut bar and 20% stiffer springs. To complete the rolling stock the edition 230 rolls on some rather tasty 21-inch alloy wheels in black, again inspired by those seen on the Polestar 1. These new hoops are fitted with 245/35R21 Pirelli P Zero tyres that were developed specifically for BST edition cars, giving drivers the ultimate in grip and handling. As the name suggests, only 230 units of this magnificent machine will be produced for European and North American Polestar markets. So, if you want to be one of the few who get to experience the thrill of driving this exceptional car, you'll need to act fast and emigrate and place your order. As with a forward-looking automaker, these cars are available to order immediately online from 21 March 2023 at Polestar.com, with deliveries expected from the third quarter of 2023.
