The presenter of the popular Amazon Prim TV show, Richard Hammond, gets the opportunity to test drive the brand new and exquisitely beautiful Aston Martin V8 Vantage!
The Aston Martin V8 Vantage has always been the smallest offering from the British motoring company Aston Martin and is incredibly agile, quick and by far one of the most successful. Richard Hammond rightfully says that the purpose of any supercar is to go quick in a straight line, but that's the easy part. Just how does the new Aston Martin V8 Vantage hold up to both its name and its older predecessors?
The new Aston Martin V8 Vantage features a brilliant 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8 designed and developed by Mercedes Benz that produces over 500 bhp and a very well balanced 505 lb-ft of torque and over and above those respectable power figures, Aston Martin managed to shave off 209 pounds from that of the previous model which in return makes the new Aston Martin V8 Vantage that much more nippy, agile and, of course, fast!

In more recent years, Aston Martin has really stepped up their game with a redesign of their entire brand, updated and new cars added to their fleet that includes an SUV which is now one of the most powerful SUV's on the planet, as well as a huge return to Formula 1. This new Aston Martin flavour has really trickled down to the new Aston Martin V8 Vantage, you can instantly see it in the overall body design that carries over the class off the 007 car brand, the minimalistic approach, and elegant and historic choices of colour, well, except for the brand new yellowish green that sticks out like a man in a high-vis suit. Richard Hammond said that if your pee was that colour you'd be on the phone to the doctor!
But hey, regardless of that, Aston Marton has made an absolutely incredible car with the brand new Aston Martin V8 Vantage, and to be honest, it would still be incredible in whatever colour they decide to release it with, and to be fair, there are much worse colours than that!
