SHOULD CELEBRITIES BE ALLOWED ON THE FORMULA 1 GRID?
Celebrities have been invited to Formula 1 Grand Prix races for decades already and serve as something rather special to the fans of the sport. However, should they actually be allowed on the grid just before a race?
With all due respect, some celebrities don't seem to realise just how much of a privilege it is to be there in the first place. A prime example of this was the recent incident involving the rapper Megan Thee Stallion and the bodyguards at the American Grand Prix and the Formula 1 reporter Martin Brundle. This was not necessarily an issue by Megan Thee Stallion, who seemed to have no problem talking to Martin Brundle, but rather that of the bodyguard who shut down the brief interview rather aggressively and for no reason.
This incident has sparked up a conversation around the rules of celebrities on the grid post-race and their bodyguards.
