THE BAC MONO POLICE CAR UNVEILED

If you catch a glimpse of this BAC Mono Police Car in your rear-view mirror, I'd suggest you pull over, because there is no chance you'll outrun this bad boy.

Briggs Automotive Company (BAC) was founded in 2011 by brothers Ian and Neill Briggs and is based in Liverpool. The company has a close relationship with the Isle of Man, and it uses the island's famous Mountain section for development and customer events.

The Isle of Man Constabulary has taken on perhaps the wildest patrol vehicle ever seen in the UK. It's the first time a Mono has been given the blues-and-twos livery for police duties!

This is a common stunt for low-volume manufacturers to gain some attention.

Don't think you can out-drag this police car. The latest edition weighs just 580kg and has a 305bhp four-cylinder Mountune engine slung amidships. The performance is rapid - 0-60mph takes a mere 2.8 seconds!
