THE FERRARI 16M SCUDERIA SPIDER IS EVERY COLLECTOR'S DREAM!
It's been nine years since the release of the Ferrari 16M Scuderia Spider, and this hardcore car remains one of the most desirable V8 Ferrari's produced in the last decade. The 16M arrived after the 430 Scuderia coupe and celebrated with Ferrari scoring its 16th Formula One constructor's championship. Only 499 examples were produced and prices have continued to creep up ever since the deliveries commenced.
It is no longer possible to get the keys to a new example, one used 16M that was only driven for 1,000 miles per year has hit the listings on James Edition thanks to London-based Pegasus Auto House.
This 16M – seen in the gallery above – is a 2009 example painted black and fitted with protective film straight from Ferrari. The Ferrari only has 7,800 miles (12,553 km) on the clock and looks like it is in immaculate condition. As seen in the pictures it looks brand new and really stands out, maybe it the yellow brake callipers.
The Ferrari 16M runs on a naturally-aspirated 4.3-litre V8 delivering 510 PS, the 16M Scuderia Spider may be underpowered compared to its modern counterparts, but all in all, it is worth every cent – $401,345 – if you are a serious car collector.
