THE NEED FOR SPEED GAME YOU NEVER HEARD OF BEFORE

Check out this rare Need For Speed game you have probably never heard of before.

Need For Speed is, without a doubt, one of EA's most long-lasting and successful racing game franchises ever. The original game called: Road & Track Presents The Need For Speed was released in 1994, however, in Japan, things were rather different. Due to localisation concerns, the first Need For Speed was given a different name: Road & Track Presents: Over Drivin' DX.

Soon after the release of the game, Nissan, got in touch with EA games and presented the idea of having a Need For Speed game that would exclusively feature Nissan cars for the Japanese market – in exchange for a large sum of money, of course. And EA agreed to this.

What was released was a Need For Speed spinoff which was taken from the Japanese NFS title change. It was labelled Nissan Over Drivin' Skyline Memorial and, as the name suggests, only featured Nissan Skylines.
