THE TENTH MOVIE IN THE SUCCESSFUL FAST N FURIOUS FRANCHISE IS ALMOST HERE - WATCH THE FAST X TRAILER WITH US.
The Fast and the Furious movie franchise has been one of the most successful ever, and while the storyline strayed away from cars and racing and the associated lifestyle more than a few movies ago, it did amazing things for the worldwide aftermarket tuning industry. Since way back in 2001 tuning shops and car owners have modelled themselves on what was seen in the movie, and it helped the massive online car community to raise the bar. It also started a worldwide fascination with import cars and we reckon is directly responsible for the rise in values over the years. The franchise started to get freaky though, there were always unbelievable stunts, but the ridiculousness has increased movie on movie, I mean in the last one they were in space. Like not on this planet space. We’re sure they lost many viewers over the years because of this, but there are those out there that will still watch every movie released, even the spinoff of Hobbs & Shaw. For this 10th (11th) movie, many of the original cast returns, and some big names are missing too, but the replacements and new cast is star-studded and as a result, it should still be a box-office hit.
Fast X is what this latest movie has been called, and at the hands of director Louis Leterrier, it promises massive action and big bangs with over-the-top scenes, and we hope the ‘best bits’ aren’t all in the trailer. Even though the movie has strayed from the car stuff somewhat, there has always been a steady appearance of interesting cars, and from this latest trailer, we see an impressive lineup of cars ranging from European classics to the newest and the best modern cars. With the new cast, it will be easier to drag your other half along because the main bad guy is none other than Jason Momoa as Dante. More male eye candy comes from Alan Ritchson, as well as Jason Statham, John Cena, Scott Eastwood, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and of course, Vin Diesel. There’s also Charlize Theron, Helen Mirren, Brie Larson, Cardi B, Jordana Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez. So it seems the plot is Dante (Mamoa) targeting Toretto (Diesel) as revenge for the death of Hernan Reyes, the drug kingpin that was taken out in FnF 5. No matter what. We’re one of those aforementioned types that will watch this movie no matter what, it would just be wrong not to watch the whole franchise and skip the last one. Well, this is The Fast and the Furious, so there may be another last one in a couple of years. I mean someone needs to do a movie with only electric cars, don’t they?
