TOP GEAR RECREATES CHARGER & SUPRA FAST AND FURIOUS SCENE WITH SUPRA MKV

Top Gear France recreates the iconic scene from the Fast and the Furious with Dom's Dodge Charger and Brian's Toyota Supra Mk3... but this time, they swapped it out with a brand new Toyota Supra MkV.

Probably one of the most iconic scenes out of the whole Fast and Furious franchise would have to be the race between Dom and Brian towards the end of the first movie, where Brian then hands over his keys to Dom to allow him to escape the cops. We then we find out in 2 Fast 2 Furious, that move costs Brian his cop career.

The Fast and the Furious came out in 2001 as a very low budget movie which, over a record-breaking 19-year franchise, is now one of the top blockbuster names worldwide. The Fast and Furious 9 launch, the latest in the lineup, has been delayed over the Covid-19 Coronavirus pandemic for close to a year.

Top Gear France decided to recreate the iconic Supra and Charger drag race, but this time with a brand new Supra MkV. They also had their own train, humorously, with the Stig at the wheel.
