TOP OF THE HILL: HILLCLIMB ACTION SET TO UNFOLD AT ZWARTKOPS RACEWAY!

Get ready to experience the ultimate adrenaline rush at the TOP OF THE HILL event, a high-octane showdown featuring some serious ICE-powered cars and cutting-edge electric EVs. This is where local motorsport fans can witness history in the making as the best of both worlds go head-to-head in an exhilarating hillclimb competition at one of the coolest tracks in SA - Zwartkops Raceway. Using a section of the circuit in reverse order, the course will be a fun and technical one for drivers to try and navigate at speed. There should be plenty of action, and hopefully, everyone will keep the sticky stuff down and the shiny side up because when you go the opposite way on a racetrack, run-off areas aren’t the same and they don’t really cater for wayward cars very well. The event will be a two-day affair with Friday, 4th October dedicated to Classic Car Friday, which is pretty self-explanatory. Saturday, 5th October is the day will see all the other cars compete for top honours. Well, some older cars will likely be seen competing on that day too. This day has been dubbed Top of the Hill and it’s the day we can’t wait to see firsthand.

Location: Zwartkops Raceway, R55 Road, Pretoria West, Gauteng, South Africa

Course: 2000m track set at an elevation of 1370 meters (4495 feet) above sea level

General Admission: R150 per person - Tickets available at the gate

VIP Parking: R20
