VOLKSWAGEN WILL OVERTAKE TESLA IN EV SALES IN 2021

A new analysis of the global EV market predicts that Volkswagen will overtake Tesla in EV sales by the end of 2021.

Tesla has been somewhat of a lone ranger in the EV market for the last two decades but, in recent times, they have really dominated the market. It was only a matter of time, though, that the already highly established automakers – like the Volkswagen group – would catch up.

Volkswagen has been eagerly awaiting its opportunity to make a breakthrough into the EV market, and has already made claims since 2017 that they will overtake Tesla in terms of EV sales. A new data analysis has revealed that Volkswagen might achieve its goal before the end of 2021.

This is all made possible by the global establishment that Volkswagen already has in terms of workshops, factories and dealerships. Furthermore, they have brand loyalty, with their customers who are satisfied with their brand.
