Red Bull has just officially unveiled their 2022 F1 car which they call the RB18 that will be the car for this years Formula 1 season that starts in a little over a months time with the first Grand Prix being hosted in Bahrain.
As before, both Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez will each receive a brand new car, that of the Red Bull RB18. The launch was hosted at the Red Bull headquarters in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom and the proud team principal, Christian Horner, had this to say at the launch ahead after its success in 2021. “We are aiming to build on what we achieved last year,” he said. “The target is to try to retain the title". “The big unknown is have we missed something with these regulations and has someone else stolen a march?” Christian added.
Red Bull is rather lucky in this sense as Honda has just pulled out of Formula 1 entirely due to cost reasons, however, they have agreed to still supply Red Bull with powertrains which clearly put Christian Horner and the sponsors at ease, at least for the time being.
