RUNNING WILD ON A RED RAMPAGE!

With the Nissan R35 GT-R now being out on the market for quite a few years, more and more companies have designed some seriously good exterior mods for it, with this Prior Design PD750 widebody kitted one being a prime example of how to make a GT-R look wild.

Sportech Cars in Johannesburg, have been well known over the years to produce some stunning custom cars, from muscle cars, to supercars and of course tuner cars like this GT-R right here.

This latest creation of theirs is definitely an eye catcher of note. I mean who could ignore a bright red GT-R with a wide-ass body and crazy in-your-face gold wheels.

The aforementioned widebody kit comes from aftermarket company Prior Design. This is their PD750 aerodynamic package to be exact and comes with a few key components. The kit is not just a bolt-on kit, but for the front and rear fenders to work, the stock fenders on the car actually needs to be cut, so when you decide to fit this kit, their's definitely no going back, but luckily Sportech has lots of experience in body modifications, so they had no issues doing this rather extensive procedure. The kit comes with front and rear wide fenders as mentioned, as well as a new front bumper, sideskirts, and finally a very sexy rear diffusor. All the parts for the kit was fitted and painted in-house and the result is really something you have to see with your own eyes, what a great outcome.

With the kit fitted and in place, the stock wheels really looked out of place and super skinny, so this had to be remedied and the solution was some really flashy Savini wheels in a bright gold colour, contrasting nicely with the red paintjob. These wheels fit perfectly under the new broad arches and they measure in at 20 inches, wrapped in sticky Dunlop SP Sport Maxx tyres, coming in at 255/40 for the fronts and 285/35 in the rear.

With the looks department now being on point, attention was turned to increasing the power output as well as the audio levels on this already fast-from-the-factory twin turbo beast. To help it clear its throat, a full HKS exhaust system was fitted, letting you really hear that VR38DETT motor scream with pleasure as you plant the throttle to the floor. Added to that they also installed bigger 1000cc injectors for increased fueling, larger fuel pumps and a flex fuel system that allows the car to run on pump fuel or high octane Ethanol. Controlling everything on the car is a well known Cobb management system, making sure it all works together in perfect harmony.

Once again the guys from Sportech managed to put together a belter of a car, with great in-your-face looks and the grunt to go with it. With the keys on this beast in your pocket you can definitely go and run wild on a RED rampage and cause some proper havoc!
