ELON MUSK TEST DRIVES HIS MODEL 3'S COMPETITOR – THE VW ID3

Tesla's CEO, Elon Musk, tests out the Model 3's biggest competitor, the Volkswagen ID3, and gives his thoughts.

Elon Musk built Tesla from the ground up, and essentially brought electric cars into the mainstream. Although exclusive, they are slowly becoming the norm worldwide.

The history of Tesla goes back to the early 2000s but, back then, it was largely just research and development for the company. The dream of the auto manufacturer getting to the point where Tesla's were rolling off the production line was nowhere in sight just yet.

But, over the last few years, the demand for Tesla's has hit the roof. Well established auto manufacturers around the world, such as the Volkswagen Group, Toyota and Nissan, have also hopped aboard the new electric car and EV trend.

As most industries go, it is always a wise idea to know exactly what your biggest competitors are doing in your market! Here we see Tesla founder, Elon Musk, getting the opportunity to test drive the Tesla Model 3's biggest competitor, the Volkswagen ID3.

Elon Musk, while he was driving, said he was largely impressed! Just slightly disappointed in the VW ID3's acceleration.
