2021 NISSAN 400ZX RENDERING REVEALS HOW THE NEW SPORTS CAR COULD LOOK LIKE

2021 is going to be an exciting year for Nissan fans, as new rendering images are revealed on what the new 400ZX could look like.

Since the Nissan 370Z was released in 2009, almost 11 years ago already, Nissan fans have been waiting in anticipation for a followup to the Japanese sports car. But, what is still an unknown is what Nissan intends on calling their new sports car. What we do know is that it will be called either the Nissan 400Z or the Nissan 400ZX, but there is more reason for Nissan to go for the 400ZX option, even though the 350Z and 370Z are both a part of the same "ZX" family.

There is word that Nissan will sport a V6 engine as they have done before with both the 3.5L Nissan 350Z and the bigger 3.7L 370Z, as well as having a version that embraces the mighty Nismo badge which offers a few extra bells and whistles, and of course, more power!

Over the last year or so we have seen many different illustrations, animations and renders of how the 2021 Nissan 400ZX could look, but none of them really grabbed our attention or imagination, for that matter, until now.

Digital artist, Adan Lopez, released his renderers of the 2021 400ZX and, for the first time, the automotive community took the 400ZX artwork seriously. We understand that these 2021 400ZX images are not the best quality, or the most realistic, but what it does offer is a visual representation of the likelihood of what the 2021 400ZX might look like. Adan Lopez based his design on everything we currently know about the next Fairlady Z35 400ZX, which is set for release in 2021, a whole 12 years since the previous generation 370Z was released.

Adan Lopez represents the 2021 400ZX as a retro-futuristic amalgamation and shares it's overall coupe shape with it's older brothers, the 350Z and the later and faster 370Z, but with a more futuristic look which makes it more period correct for 2021. One thing that should be mentioned is that a very similar design approach was used for the previous 370Z when it arrived for the first time back in 2009. The public was really impressed with Nissan's futuristic looks for the 370Z but still managed to maintain its frame design from its predecessor, the Nissan 350Z which was released almost two decades ago, in 2002.

The 2021 400ZX, much like its predecessors, will be a car designed to give its owner a sense of pure driving enjoyment, adequate performance and race-like handling, while still offering enough comfortability for everyday use. On top of that, the Nissan "ZX" range has always offered fantastic eye-opening performance at a reasonable price, not saying that the 2021 Nissan 400ZX will be cheap, but in comparison to its rivals, it will be of great value.

Adan Lopez has yet again got our hopes and excitement up for yet another great exciting sports car, this time it's the Nissan 400ZX expected to be released in 2021. If Nissan holds up to its promises to deliver an exciting performance orientated sports car to become the successor to the undefeated Nissan 370Z, we are in for quite a pleasant surprise with the Nissan 400ZX debut in 2021.

Take a look at the video render by digital artist Adan Lopez below on his YouTube channel, The Adan Channel, revealing how the new 2021 Nissan 400ZX it's expected to look.
