ACTIVITIES FOR YOUNG CAR ENTHUSIASTS – BEFORE YOUR LICENCE

Check out these exciting activities to keep your interest alive before you're old enough to get your drivers license.

Most car enthusiasts take an interest in cars and car culture long before they are old enough to get their drivers licence, so what can you do to keep your interest alive during that time?

Well, as it turns out, there are a number of things!

1: Gaming. As much of a cliche as it may seem, racing games, especially nowadays, is a fantastic way to learn a lot about the fundamentals of cars. We would advise to rather try out racing simulator games such as Gran Tourismo, as opposed to an arcade type game. These games help you to learn about engine performance, types of tyres and modifications and overall car physics.

2: Car Shows. There is nothing as spectacular as seeing your favourite cars in person. Car Shows also help you learn about different car subcultures, and give you a sense of what's currently trending in the scene. Overall, being a part of the scene is somewhat rewarding, with being around other likeminded people who share the same interest as you regardless of the age.

3: Car Races. Why not attend some motorsport? Not all car enthusiasts are into racing per se, but a lot of them are. Hearing the roar of the engines and atmosphere of the crowds is one thing, but following the sport is also a fantastic way to share your passion with others.
