ADOBE LIGHTROOM'S NEW AI MASK IS GREAT FOR CAR PHOTOGRAPHY
So you love going to the odd car meet, taking your camera or cellphone along and capturing the event and sharing it on your socials right?
Well, here is a little tip for you to get down to some basic editing and getting your car photographs to pop like never before!
Automotive photography is not exactly the easiest to achieve on a professional level as the subject, the car is rather shiny and you are usually photographing it in a rather high contrast environment whereby the background, or sky, is significantly brighter than the subject which usually requires some post-production to bring up those shadows and potentially reduce the highlights in intensity, furthermore, the colour of the car can have a huge impact over the colour of the image especially when shooting in auto white balance. If you shoot a car that is blue, the entire image may appear warmer in colour for example, but reducing the warmth of the entire image will make the car cooler in colour which is not what you want, but Adobe Lightroom has your back with this new incredible feature!
