AR WHEEL PREVIEW APP CALLED HOLOSPECT IS A GAME CHANGER

This brand new mobile app called HoloSpect allows a user to preview their next set of wheels in AR (augmented reality), and is proven to be a game-changer in the car community.

Before AR apps like HoloSpect by Aerolarri, we had to use innovative sites like Rimulator, where you would go to rimulator.com, choose the make and model of your car (if they have it available on their site), then choose your model variant and colour. Once you've done that, then you'll have to browse through hundreds of wheel colours, sizes and designs from numerous custom wheel manufacturers. Eventually, though, you'll be able to get a rough visual idea of how your car will look with a set of custom wheels, but that process is getting quite dated.

With almost every new smartphone and gadget being released lately having the ability to handle AR, or augmented reality, the possibility of creating more useful applications is growing exponentially.

Recently, an AR based mobile app called HoloSpect made by Aerolarri has been released and is currently available on the AppStore for iOS devices as well as for Android devices.

The concept of the HoloSpect mobile app is to allow users to superimpose a new set of wheels on your own car, with the use of AR, that are available for purchase at wheel stores. It is as simple as choosing your new wheel, selecting your desired colour and rim size and then holding up your phone towards your car and let the AR mobile app do the rest! HoloSpect also allows a user to tilt and rotate the wheel to give you the best angle when previewing your new set of wheels for your car.

HoloSpect also allows wheel manufacturers to offer discounts for users using the app. They can also add new wheels to the HoloSpect catalogue themselves, so new wheel options and varieties are constantly updated for the users.

The app also has a few other features, such as renders of super and hypercars for you to place in a real-world environment, which can also be edited with new wheels and paint. Take a look at the video below by YouTube channel, Chet Baigh, on the HoloSpect AR app by Aerolarri to find out more.
