AUDI REVEALS PERFORMANCE PARTS FOR R8 AND TT!

If you think the Audi R8 and TT RS need some testosterone pumped into the looks and performance departments, then you're in for a treat. The latest news is that Audi has produced brand-spanking-new performance and aero kits for both models.

The retro-fitted aero kits add an impressively more aggro look to the vehicles, which include carbon fibre-reinforced polymer front splitters with "flics" for more drama, as well as a large fixed wing and upgraded rear diffuser. This, on the R8 for example, pumps an additional 100kg of downforce over the standard car, if you're travelling at 330 km/h that is.

Finishing touches to the aesthetics include a set of race-inspired 20-inch alloy wheels that shave more than 7kg of unnecessary weight and side skirts to match the diffuser.

On the inside, there's a new steering wheel covered in Alcantra with carbon fibre paddle shifters attached and, if you have a TT RS, you can replace the rear seats with a cross-member strut brace to stiffens things up.

In terms of performance, there are two different coil-over suspension setups to choose from, an Akrapovic exhaust system to help you stand out in the crowd, and upgraded brake linings to improve stopping power.

The catalogue for these two, the R8 and TT RS is said to be released by the end of the third quarter of 2017 and Audi considering rolling it out to some of their other models in the future too.
