BARE CARBON D8 GTO RS IS LIMITED TO 15 WORLDWIDE!
Donkervoort has delivered the first production model of the limited edition D8 GTO RS Bare Naked Carbon Edition.
The D8 GTO RS is limited to only 15 worldwide and is even more exclusive than the typical D8 GTO RS and as the name implies, it is finished entirely in carbon fibre to not only make it look the part but also to ensure it is as light as possible.
The example that can be seen in the gallery has been finished in Donkervoort Monte Carlo Blue Carbon which makes this car a real head turner. The vast majority of the body is bathed in stunning blue carbon while a number of more traditional gloss carbon parts are found elsewhere.
Underneath the beautiful bodywork is a 2.5-liter TFSI Audi-sourced engine that delivers 380 horsepower, when combined with a scarce overall weight of 700 kg, this means the D8 GTO RS Bare Naked Carbon Edition can sprint to 100km/h in just 2.7 seconds and can reach a top-speed of 270 km/h.
The D8 GTO RS Bare Naked Carbon Edition is priced at $217,440.
