BMW 328 HOMMAGE
Take a look at what is arguably one of the most beautiful cars BMW has ever made – The BMW 328 Hommage.
The original BMW 328 was released in the early 1930s and was nothing shy of a milestone, a legendary car for the entire world and not just for BMW. The original BMW 328 was the most successful sports cars of the 1930s in the racing world.
The BMW 328 weighed in at a light 780kg and produced a respectable 80 horsepower for the time. It managed to break the world record time at the Nurburgring on the 14th of June 1936.
BMW has now paid respect to their legendary classic sportscar with the all-new BMW 328 Hommage concept car.
The BMW 328 Hommage is built using carbon-fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP), which is also used in the BMW M3 and M6, and proves to be lighter and far stronger than aluminium. The 328 Hommage has a 3.0-litre straight-six that makes 340 bhp.
