CAR MODS THAT RUINED YOUR CAR

It can be difficult for some of us to admit when we're wrong, especially when it comes to modifying our cars – but we shouldn't be because everyone is stupid sometimes.

Back in the late 80s and early 90s, luminous coloured 'splash' stickers were all the rage, your car was just that much better with one... but it actually wasn't and that phase deserved to die a horrible death.

That, though, was just a sticker. What about when you decided to buy that knock-off boot lid spoiler that was so poorly fabricated it didn't actually fit your Honda and then you still had to spray it yourself, all because you were a broke student that didn't have the patience to save up for a few months to get a better one.

Then there was that awful neon under-glow you attached to your Toyota MR2, or those oversized mags on your VW Golf that didn't actually fit, causing the tyres to scrape on the fenders.

Any petrolhead who didn't do something stupid like that is a liar, so just embrace the embarrassment and enjoy Alex from Fitment Industries as he runs through some truly awful car mods that ruined your car.
