DDE ORGANISES A TRACK IN THE CANADIAN MOUNTAINS – THE SLAYGROUND
The guys at DDE have found a racetrack in the Canadian mountains, and they've dubbed it The Slayground.
With the US borders closed, the boys at Daily Driven Exotics haven't had the opportunity for a track day in a while. Luckily, their friend, Mike, knows of an oval track in the mountains in Canada.
Enter a road trip that includes a fuel stop, driving in the rain with the roof off, and in true DDE style, mucking about with the Lamborghini hood cover in a shop.
Then, it's time for a lot of sideways action in Damon's Chevrolet Corvette C8. The car is beastly, and its tyres are not long for this world as smoke bellows out of them. It's fun to watch this mid-engined sports car breaking traction as it drifts through the corners. Then it's time for burnouts and doughnuts, even buddy Mike has a go at shredding the tyres.
Needless to say, once again, Damon gets the engine light aglow, so he'll need to visit Chevy for a service. The good news, though, is that DDE has struck a deal with the Penticton Speedway and will be hosting live events soon. I have a feeling the Slayground will be the Canadian version of the Hoonigan's Burnyard, and what petrolhead wouldn't love that.
