DO PERFORMANCE HEADERS ACTUALLY GIVE MORE POWER?

So the time has come for you to crank up those sweet horsepower figures on your naturally aspirated street nugget. But what can you actually do without going balls-to-the-wall on expensive and extreme performance modifications?

Well, the first thing you're gonna want to do is give that puppy a good service, replenish those fluids and replace those nasty filters and plugs.

Now, imagine running a race with your nose blocked, no going to be too efficient is it? So slap on a high-flow cold air intake! But breathing in easily is only half the job, next you are going to want to ensure that your engine can expel those exhaust gasses more freely than the factory setup. A great way to do this is to do some exhaust mods, starting with upgrading your factory headers with a high-flow performance header.

Installing a header is a rather simple bolt-on process, but getting the original one off and the new one on may require some patience.

Now that your new header is on, there is no need to install a five-point racing harness as you probably won't get outrageous horsepower gains. But a good quality header, air intake and a decent dyno tune will most definitely pump those numbers up!
