DRIVING THE LAMBORGHINI COUNTACH LP400

It's time to go old-school and take a drive in a Lamborghini Countach LP400.

This is the poster car that covered the walls of boys through the late 70s and early 80s. Still today, it's an achingly beautiful beast of a vehicle. Built way back in 1977, this particular car has that fantastic carb-fed V12 driving the rear wheels, all 14-inches of them.

We join Harry's Garage, who have this to say: "Driving a Lamborghini Countach is always fun but this Countach is extra special as it's the first edition Countach, the LP400, dating from 1977 and owned by Simon Kidston to whom I'm extremely grateful for allowing Octane Magazine to drive it for this month's cover story."

This is a great video explaining how special this car is to those who are too young to know and for those of us who lusted after one for years. Hit play and enjoy the show!
