The story of Lotus Engineering Company is vast and impressive, with its philosophy of not chasing displacement, instead, delivering performance through creating lighter cars.

Lotus was formidable on the racetrack, dominating F1 for years. Chapman, who had previously worked in the aeronautical industry, was a master of aerodynamics and downforce, and his cars were the proof of this.

Not everything was always peachy, though, with years of trouble and poor decisions. However, with new partners and a touch of luck, we're lucky enough to still have Lotus with us today.
