FENOMENO - NO, IT'S NOT A MARVEL CHARACTER, IT'S THE LATEST SLICE OF AWESOME FROM LAMBORGHINI WITH MORE THAN 1,000 HP ON TAP.

Automobili Lamborghini has revealed the Fenomeno, a radical limited-edition hypercar restricted to just 29 examples worldwide, and it’s already got all the top automotive YouTubers salivating and threatening to sell off parts of their collection to have one. Debuting during Monterey Car Week - the global stage where car culture, excess and exclusivity collide, the Fenomeno takes its place as the most extreme Lamborghini ever created, both in design and performance. The numbers are brilliant, even by Lamborghini standards. With 795 kW (1,080 hp), a blistering 0–100 km/h in 2.4 seconds, 0–200 km/h in 6.7 seconds, and a top speed in excess of 350 km/h, the Fenomeno sets new benchmarks as the fastest and most powerful Lamborghini in history. That’s saying something. But it is not just the speed that makes the Fenomeno live up to its name. It is the latest chapter in Lamborghini’s storied history of outrageous few-off creations – cars like the Reventón (2007), the Veneno (2013), and the Centenario (2016) – each of which redefined what Sant’Agata Bolognese was capable of at the time. The Fenomeno now joins that bloodline, but pushes it into a new hybrid-electric era.

At its core lies a normally aspirated 6.5-litre V12, the beating heart of Lamborghini tradition, except it’s been combined with three electric motors and a new 7 kWh battery. The hybrid system has been engineered for domination: delivering instant torque, torque-vectoring precision, and regenerative braking, while retaining the spine-tingling character of a high-revving V12. Its monofuselage chassis, crafted from Lamborghini’s multi-technology carbon fibre and Forged Composite®, provides extreme rigidity and low weight – a concept first previewed with the Reventón, which pioneered carbon-fibre bodywork for Lamborghini nearly two decades ago. The result is a hypercar with the best weight-to-power ratio in Lamborghini’s history: 1.64 kg/hp.

The Fenomeno’s design, led by Centro Stile Lamborghini, is quite a statement, and we reckon it’s better than the latest Countach. The front features Huracán GT3–inspired air intakes, a DRL signature recalling the horns of the raging bull, and the new Lamborghini logo, unveiled in 2024, for the first time on a super sports car. From the side, a single, unbroken line creates a silhouette inspired by the long-tail Essenza SCV12, with “muscular volumes” above and functional aerodynamic fins below. At the rear, the Fenomeno introduces a completely new design language for Lamborghini: a continuous line that flows into the wing, framing the futuristic vertical Y-shaped light signature and aggressive diffuser. Inside, the cockpit embodies Lamborghini’s “Feel like a pilot” philosophy, stripped of excess and focused entirely on the connection between driver and machine. A race-inspired steering wheel, deep-set driving position, and three digital displays create a cockpit more spaceship than supercar.

Lamborghini’s official technical partner, Bridgestone, has developed bespoke Potenza Sport ultra-high-performance tyres for the Fenomeno, including Run Flat Technology for safety and optional semi-slick track compounds to fully exploit the hypercar’s capabilities on circuit. That the Fenomeno made its debut at Monterey Car Week is no coincidence. Over the last half-century, Monterey has grown from a gathering of enthusiasts into the world’s most prestigious automotive festival, where priceless classics share the stage with the rarest and most extravagant new creations. For Lamborghini, it is the natural arena to unveil a car that rewrites its own rulebook.

“With the Fenomeno, Lamborghini once again presents an incomparable super sports car in a limited edition,” said Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini. “The combination of the most powerful V12 in our history, breathtaking design, superior aerodynamics, and cutting-edge lightweight construction make the Fenomeno the most extraordinary Lamborghini of our time. A phenomenon in name and in nature.”
