Home / Social media / News / Here Are The Least And Most Reliable Car Brands In The UK

Have you ever wondered how reliable vehicles actually are? Well, wonder no more as the guys at carwow have put together a list of all the major car manufacturers, ranking them from the least to most reliable in the UK.

Every one of us has an opinion on the reliability of vehicle manufacturers. Whether that be because of experience or hearsay, invariably, there will be someone who will disagree with you.

So, to end any disagreements the next time you're at the pub, the guys at carwow partnered with Warrantywise to compile a list. It includes all the manufacturers they have on their books and then given them a reliability rating out of 100.

As per the description on their YouTube channel, carwow says, "This survey has been calculated using data taken from the extended car warranty data held by Warrantywise and the repairs they have received."

A spokesman for Warrantywise said: "Warrantywise does not release data for cars unless we have a minimum of 100 vehicles as a sample amount. This data relates to claims between 2010 and 2020, and may not represent the reliability of new vehicles as all of the data in the set is for vehicles over 3 years old."

Now, this is a UK-based survey, but one could extrapolate interesting info from here for other markets that receive vehicles from the same factories. Regardless, I think many of you are going to be shocked at where many of our favourite brands place, so best you sit down before you press play on the video below by carwow.
