HOW TO CHANGE A CAR'S COLOUR IN PHOTOSHOP

Photoshop is a great way tool to use to visually see what your car could potentially look like with a new set of wheels, lowered suspension, vinyl wrap design or even a change of colour before you actually invest in your new mod. Or perhaps you just want to create some digital art! Whatever the case may be, here is how to change the colour of a car in Adobe Photoshop...

First of all, you want to ensure you have an image of the car, to begin with, the image has to be in colour, be in a high resolution as well as have the car (subject) acceptably sharp in detail (not out of focus).

Then you want to open that image up into Adobe Photoshop by hitting File>Open.

Now, you want to head over to Image>Adjustments>Hue/Saturation.

In the Hue/Saturation settings, you want to select the colour picker tool and ensure that the Add To Selection box is ticked then click on the colour of the car you want to change in 2 or 3 different places. Then you can proceed to play around with the Hue slider to find the colour you want.
