VIDEO: THE LAZARETH LM847 HAS FOUR WHEELS AND A MASERATI V8 ENGINE!!
The Lazareth LM847 is a 4 wheel tilting motorcycle, powered by a Maserati V8 engine that delivers 470 horsepower. Brakes are provided by two 8-piston callipers on 420mm diameter perimeter discs and the brake levers are reversed to improve ergonomics and braking precision.
The two rear trailing arms are articulated around the primary transmission axes thus enabling the two chains to transmit optimally the 470 bhp, with an 1850 mm wheelbase and four 17 inch wheels allow the bike to stable right the first mph, just enough to encounter the 620 Nm of torque.
Between the front, and rear wheels are split carbon fibre aerodynamic shields that work together when the bike is upright to give the impression of a third tire, or that the whole monstrous thing is just one two-feet wide piece of rubber. The bike only has one speed, power is transmitted via a torque converter that takes the machine from 0-100 mph in seconds!
