How do stunt drivers make a living working on major Hollywood movies?

Making a living by doing what you do best is nothing shy of a dream. But just imagine being paid to perform car stunts on major Hollywood movies!

But in such a competitive industry, being able to drive with precision is sometimes not enough!

Hollywood stunt drivers Dan Brockett and Tanner Foust are known for performing stunts in movies such as Better Call Saul, Ford V Ferrari, Need For Speed and The Fast And The Furious Tokyo Drift.

They both admit that they got their jobs by pure flook and by being at the right place at the right time, and not necessarily from applying or seeking formal job opportunities. What they do say, however, is that simply being able to do your job well is not enough, you have to be able to work well with other people on set. In other words, being a people person and being able to follow directions. Furthermore, having a background in motorsport really helps too.
