HUMMER EV VS TESLA CYBERTRUCK
How does the GMC Hummer EV stand up to the Tesla Cybertruck?
GMC's electric Hummer was designed and engineered for one purpose, and that is to be the best offroad vehicle they could possibly make. The Hummer EV features technology that has never before been seen in consumer cars, such as the crab walking feature from its all-wheel steering system that literally allows the car to move diagonally to manoeuvre in tricky and tough terrain.
With that, it also has undercarriage cameras which will give the driver the best view and insight to what obstacles might be underneath the car.
On the other hand, Tesla has also taken on the electric offroad vehicle market with their highly futuristic Cybertruck which also features state of the art offroad innovation.
The Hummer EV uses three electric motors to produce 1,000hp and 1100 ft-lb of torque. The Tesla Cybertruck hasn't revealed any of its specs as yet, but speculation shows it will be around 650hp. Both EV's boast a 0-60 time of around three seconds. But, more importantly, the Hummer claims to do around 350 miles on a single charge, and the Cybertruck around 500 miles.
