HYUNDAI AND KIA CUT ALL NEGOTIATIONS WITH APPLE
Automaker, Hyundai, and its affiliate company, Kia, cut all negotiations with Apple.
These days, it is commonplace to hear about various collaborations between car manufacturers and tech companies, such as Ford's recent partnership with Google.
Not only do these partnerships exist because of high demand for top quality infotainment and navigation systems, but also for future research and development of autonomous EV car technologies.
Tesla seemed to have paved the way forward, showing the automobile industry the importance of an amalgamation between software development, AI and auto manufacturing – although Tesla themselves handle all these processes. But, existing car companies find it more efficient and cost-effective to partner with existing tech companies like Google and Apple.
There has been ongoing communications and negotiations between Apple and Hyundai, however, with no report officially released. But, in the latest news update on the subject according to Bloomberg, Hyundai and Kia have cut all negotiations with Apple.
